Obituary of Patricia A. Lamberton

Patricia "Pat" Lamberton, 71, of Dowagiac, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 surrounded by her family. Pat was born on September 10, 1941 to the late Lester and Anne (Gortney) Bevill in Tupelo, Mississippi. She was one of six children growing up in the Bevill household. After high school Pat wed the love of her life, James "Jim" Lamberton on December 10, 1959 in Niles. Together they had three children. Pat was a wonderful mother who loved spending time with her grandchildren and going out to eat with her family. Pat is preceded in death by her parents and survived by her husband Jim of Dowagiac, children Rick Lamberton of Niles, Tim (Mary) Lamberton of Niles, Pamela Lamberton of South Bend, Indiana, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and siblings Mary Clemans of Leesburg, Florida, William (Sue) Bevill, Kenneth (Donna) Bevill, Brenda (James) Akey and Danny Bevill all of Niles. Those wishing to make memorial donations may do so in Pat's memory to Grace Hospice 2725 Airview Blvd. Portage, Michigan 49002, who took wonderful care of Pat during her time of need. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 10 a.m. until noon with funeral service beginning at noon at Brown Funeral Home.
