Obituary of Steven C. Buehrle

Steven Charles Buehrle, 68, of Niles, passed away at home on Monday, January 30, 2017. Steven was born on May 4, 1948, the late Charles and Veronica (Zielinski) Buehrle in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from high school, Steven went on to work for Conrail. He worked there for over 40 years until his retirement. On December 31, 1993, Steven wed Rachelle at a ceremony in Eastpointe, Michigan. Steven had a close-knit group of friends and he enjoyed spending time with them and his grandchildren, going fishing with Mikey, and he loved watching the Detroit Lions play on Sunday. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Michael Buehrle. Steven is survived by his wife, Rachelle; children, Joseph Buehrle, Charles (Sara Rose) Buehrle, Tara (Chris) Lane all of St. Claire Shores, Michigan, Mikey Garza II of Niles, and Mathew Garza of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and 7 grandchildren. In keeping with Steven's wishes, he has been cremated and his family will be holding a gathering at their home for friends and family.
