Michael Shawn King, 67, of Edwardsburg passed away Friday, February 17, 2017.
He was born to the late Edmund and Audrey (Jackson) King on January 6, 1950 in San Francisco, California.
After graduating from high school, Michael enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served his country proudly.
On April 5, 2002 Michael wed Dawn Bybee at a ceremony in Cassopolis. Always a hard worker, Michael worked for Rieth Riley as a surveyor and also on the road crew until his retirement.
Michael is survived by his wife, Dawn. He is also survived by his children; Chip King, Matthew King, Wendy (Zach) Jones, Jessica King, and Casey King, his grandchildren Mathieu and Ashlyn and his siblings, Timothy King and Sally Russell.
Services to honor Michael's life will be held Friday, February 24, 2017, 12:00 o'clock noon at the Edwardsburg American Legion.
Memorials for Mike may be made to the family in care of Brown Funeral Home, Niles.
