Bonnie G. Ashley, 57, of Benton Harbor, passed away at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville on Sunday, April 2, 2017. She was born on November 26, 1959 in St. Joseph, Michigan to the late Roy E. and Shirley L. (Brown) Ashley. Bonnie had most recently been employed at Hughes Plastics in St. Joe. Bonnie always enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson. Molly, Bonnie's Dog, was her life. She was devoted to her and now they are reunited. Those who will remember Bonnie will recall her kindness and free spirit. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Oscar "Peanut" Ashley and Terry Ashley. Bonnie is survived by her brothers, Randy (Fany) Ashley of South Bend and Ricky (Kay) Schmidtman of St. Louis, Missouri, a sister Melinda (Tim) Johnston of Coloma, a good friend, Robin Serdel of Benton Harbor, as well as countless nieces, nephews and others who will miss her. In keeping with Bonnie's wishes, cremation has taken place and her family will be remembering her privately. Memorial contributions may be made in Bonnie's memory to a charity of one's choice.
