Edith Willie Patterson, 79 of South 13th Street, in Niles, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Lakeland Hospital in Niles with her family by her side.
She was born on January 13, 1927. Edith had 2 children and spent all of her life with them. She enjoyed sewing, needle point and especially her favorite TV story General Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Issac who passed in France during the war in 1945
Edith is survived by her daughter Betty (John) Nallay of Evansville, Indiana, her Son George Wiggins of Niles, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way.
A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 from 10-12 at the Mission Hills Memorial Chapel where the service will follow at Noon. Chaplin Scott Labbe will be officiating and Edith will be interned at the Mission Hills Memorial Garden.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mission Hills Memorial Chapel and Brown Funeral Home (formerly Pifer~Smith) of Niles.
