Diana Lucille (Lick) Parker April 17, 1940 October 29, 2006 Diana L. (Lick) Parker, 66, of Stevensville, Michigan went to be with her Lord, on Sunday October 29th, 2006 following a courageous battle with cancer. Diana was born on April 17, 1940 in St. Joseph, Michigan and was raised on Silver Lake, to the late Reinhold and Emma (Schmidt) Lick. On October 4, 1958 she married George Parker in St. Joseph. She was a life-member of Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Joseph. Diana loved the beach and was a "sand rabbit". Diana was a manager for Ruff-N-Stuff Restaurant for many years before retiring. She enjoyed fishing and spending time on the lake. Diana loved dancing in George's arms and the couple had won many local contests. Her passion was her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, who were German and Russian immigrants and two sisters Delores Drakopulos and Betty Ann Lick. Diana is survived by her husband George, a son Neil (Melissa) Parker, two daughters Rhonda (Dave) Russell and Janis (Michael) Coleman, nine grandchildren; Heather and Bryan Russell, Brandon (Stefanie) Hartman, Roger and Danielle Jones, Mykayla Coleman, Isabella, Gabrielle and Alexandra Parker, one great grand-daughter Katelyn Hartman, six sisters; Vivian Smith, Virginia Varney, Carol (Donald) Hatfield, Elaine (Joe) James, Beverly (Thomas) Garcia and Judith (Kenneth) Lousman, a brother Harold Lick and many nephews and nieces. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday November 1st, 2006 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church 715 Market Street St. Joseph, MI. Funeral Services will be held at the church on Thursday November 2nd at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Thomas Batsky officiating. An interment will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made in Diana's memory to Hospice at Home, Inc. 4025 Health Park Lane St. Joseph, Michigan 49085 or to Trinity Lutheran Church.
