David Franklin Lacy April 11, 1927 November 22, 2006 David Franklin Lacy, 89, of White Street in Niles, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at his home. David was born on April 11, 1927 to the late Franklin and Alice (Allen) Lacy in Jefferson City, Missouri. David proudly served his country in the United States Army. He then worked at the French Paper Company. After his retirement he spent most of his time with his family. David also enjoyed working outdoors, "hogging" fish, family cookouts, bluegrass and older country music, the Ozark Mountains in Missouri and tending to his farm. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Jonas Lacy, Opal Lacy, Alice Adam, Yvon Peep and Olie Grill. David is survived by his Sons David (Sandy) Lacy of Rochester, New Hampshire and Ivan (Evelyn) Lacy of Milton, New Hampshire, Daughters Geri (Bob) Fredericks of Niles, Mary (Bud) Dodd of South Bend, Evelyn (Craig) Robins of Niles, Sister Goldie Burks of Niles, 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. David's funeral service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Mission Hills Memorial Chapel. Pastor Mike Smith will be officiating. David will be interned at the Mission Hills Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services (formerly Pifer~Smith) of Niles.
