Hazel and her Mom were great. When i was young they took me in like a daughter and a sister. I remember all the times we played Yahtzee together. Hazel had that smile that no one else had. I remember babysitting for Roger, Dawn & little Donny, who by the way had luscious long hair. I want to also say that if you can and have the time to visit one's you haven't seen in along time do it!! i missed out on seeing Hazel and her Mom before they passed all because i didn't take the time. TIME is precious to us all. I will always have the family in my heart and in my prayers. I thank God for bringing Hazel and all of her family in my life if even for a short time. Love to all!

I just want to say that Hazel was truly a beautiful person. She took such good care of her Mother and others, who will always be grateful. It's been a while since i seen Hazel, but the memories of her will always be remembered.
Sincerely

Steve & Family: It doesn't seem possible yet that we've lost such a special friend in our lives. We'll always remember how she welcomed us with open arms when we joined the Moose; her wicked sense of humor; & if you were lucky enough (much to Todd's delight we were) of a tin of peanut brittle made with love every Christmas that came with the annual explicit instructions "that's not all for you Todd"; to the endless supply of M&M's,gumballs & hugs for Delaney. With you, we share your sorrow Steve & mourn your loss. After a few tears were shed, it may have been best expressed by Delaney: "I'm gonna miss her, but Miss Hazel is a special angel now with God up in heaven". And that is so true.

I dont know where to start.Hazel was my second mom.I remember so much about her.The day before god took her I went to see her.I sat there looking at her and remembering all the times we shared &talked.I was so scared to leave,I told her i loved her and she kissed me.Thats one kiss ill never forget.I prayed a dozen times that day it wouldnt be my last goodbye.She was there for me 7 years ago when i lost my dad.What am i gonna do without her???I want to let Roger,Dawn,and Donnie know you're in my heart and I love you all..You too Steve..I wanna share a poem:
~~~~ONLY THE BEST~~~~
A Heart of Gold stopped beating,
Two shining eyes at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove,
He only takes the Best.
God knows you had to leave us,
But you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day He took you Home.
To some you are forgotten,
To others just the past.
But to us who loved and lost you,
Your memory will always last.
You'll never be forgotten Momma I'll love you forever and miss you bunches..
Love,Melinda
I will always remember Hazel calling my husband "Easy". It fit him well and it gave her a chuckle every time she called him that.
Thanks Hazel, we will miss you.
