Obituary of Charlotte Uselton

Charlotte J. Uselton, 84, of Niles, passed away at Westwoods of Niles on Tuesday, May2, 2017. Charlotte was born on October 7, 1932, to the late George and Sara (Whitehead) Pirtle in Roswell, New Mexico. After graduating from high school, Charlotte went on to wed Donald Uselton in 1951. The two had three children together. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; and brothers, Tom Pirtle and Darrell Pirtle. Charlotte is survived by her children, Catherine Giro of Niles, Don (Cherrie) Uselton of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida, and Ron (Deb) Uselton of Granger, Indiana; grandchildren, Joshua Giro, Sara (Brett) Newton, Travis Uselton, Calvin (Alessia) Uselton; and their mother, Eva Uselton; and great-grandchildren, Lucy, Max, and Layla; siblings, JoAnn Heck of Roswell; and many extended family members and close friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Beacon Baptist Church in Niles and her ashes will be placed on the family farm where she grew up in Roswell, New Mexico.
