Clara M. Marcin March 19, 1904 January 6, 2007 Clara M. (Sawyer) Marcin, 103, of Niles passed away Saturday January 6, 2007 at Cass County Medical Care Facility. She was born on March 19, 1904 in Streetor, Illinois to the late Oren and Lydia (Mottershaw) Sawyer. On June 3, 1950 she married Andrew Marcin at a ceremony in South Bend, IN. Clara enjoyed being a homemaker, however she worked in several factories during WWII. She loved crocheting, crafts and spending time with her family and friends. Clara was a very kind and loving person. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four sisters, a brother, two sons Sibersie Thorn and Oren Reynolds and a daughter Betty Allison. Clara is survived by a daughter Ester Crawford of Niles, seventeen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, twenty eight great-great grandchildren and three great-great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 10th, 2007 at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel located at 61453 M-51 Niles. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior. Memorial contributions can be made in Clara's memory to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
