Helen W. Flanagan, 95, of Dunlap, Tennessee formerly of Niles, passed away Saturday January 20, 2007 in Dunlap, following an extended illness. Helen was born on November 29, 1911 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Charles and Leena (Ralth) Bauman. On October 14, 1932 she married Wilbert Flanagan at a ceremony in South Bend, Indiana. A homemaker most of her life, Helen also enjoyed bird watching and her beloved pets. She was a member of Hope Community Church of Niles. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, all of her brothers and sisters and a daughter Geraldene Waldron. She is survived by a grandson Stephen Sr. (Tina) Waldron of Pikeville, Tennessee, two great grandchildren Ashley and Stephen II of Pikeville, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday January 24, 2007 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm and Thursday January 25, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Brown Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday January 25, 2007 at 1:00p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Smith officiating. An interment will be held at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
