Obituary of Albert Villwock

Albert C. Villwock December 29, 1921 February 27, 2007 Albert C. Villwock, 85, of US 31 South, Berrien Springs, passed away Tuesday February 27th, 2007 at his home, following an illness. He was born on December 29, 1921 in Berrien Springs to the late Emil and Minnie (Priebe) Villwock. In 1945 Albert entered the Navy serving his country proudly during WWII. After his return home, he married the love of his life, Dorothy Hankins, at a ceremony on February 3, 1951 in Berrien Springs. Together the family owned and operated Villwock's Farm Market for over fifty years. He always enjoyed farming, fishing and hunting. Albert never missed watching a Notre Dame game. He valued most his time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Laura Villwock Gold and a brother Max Villwock. Albert is survived by his wife Dorothy Villwock of Berrien Springs, a son Don (Cindy) Villwock of Berrien Springs, three grandchildren; Michael (Jody) Villwock of Buchanan, Megan and Melanie Villwock both of Berrien Springs, two step-grandchildren Alicia Sirovica of South Bend and Steve Sirovica of Granger, a great-grandson Elijah Villwock, a sister Martha Villwock of Berrien Springs and a brother Lester (Betty) Villwock of Niles. A time of visitation will be held Saturday March 3, 2007 at Brown Funeral Home from 4:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. with the memorial service held at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Youngberg officiating. A private interment will be held at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens. Services have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Niles.
