Obituary of Robert Williams

Robert L. Williams June 29, 1926 March 1, 2007 Robert LaRue Williams. 80, of Lester Avenue in Dowagiac passed away at Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 1, 2007. Bob was born on June 29, 1926 to the late Floyd and Mary (Jones) Williams in Niles. Bob and Florence Malsch were wed on April 25, 1981 at a ceremony in Zephyr Hills, Florida. Together they have 5 children. Bob proudly served his country during World War II in the Air Force where he served on the gunnery line. After Bob's time in the Air Force he went to work for the City of Tampa at the Waste Water Treatment Plant. He retired from there many years later. He is preceded in death by his parents and Sisters Patricia Matthews and Vivian Kinyon. Bob is survived by his loving wife Florence, Sons Fredrick (Judy) Williams of Navarre, FL, Ed (Kristina) Williams of Jacksonville, FL and James (Eady) Williams of Jacksonville, FL, Daughters Sheila (Rex) Bratz of Jacksonville, FL and Lynette (Richard Hurd) Ziesmann of Jackson, MI, 15 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren. Bob's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mission Hills Memorial Chapel. In keeping with Bob's wishes he has been cremated and will be inurned in the Mission Hills Memorial Veterans Garden. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services and Mission Hills Memorial Chapel.
