Obituary of Ruby Yentes

Ruby Yentes July 17, 1927 March 3, 2007 Ruby Yentes, 79 of Shady Shore Drive in Niles, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2007 at Silverbrook Manor following a long illness. Ruby was born on July 17, 1927 to the late William and Vera Rahill in Chicago, Illinois. Ruby was married to Lester Yentes in 1992 at a ceremony in Plymouth, Indiana. Ruby retired from National Standard after 20 years of service. After her retirement she spent her time with Les traveling west in their motor home. She was also known to be quite the dancer in her younger days. She is preceded in death by her parents. Ruby is survived by her loving husband, Les, son Jeffrey Holloway and daughter Katherine Holloway both of Mishawaka, IN, grandchildren James (Mineko) Holloway, Laura Holloway, Danielle Holloway, Melissa Holloway Kyler Holloway and Dustin Holloway, and great-grandchildren Brittany Baldwin, Jessica Boose, Jason Johnson, Antwain Johnson, Keanna Rucker and Latrell Johnson. In keeping with Ruby's wishes she has been cremated and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Ruby's ashes will be inurned at the Mission Hills Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Niles.
