Obituary of Mark E. Robards

Mark E. Robards, 61, of Barron Lake in Niles, passed away at his residence on Thursday, July 25, 2013, suddenly, but of natural causes. He was born on April 26, 1952 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to the late Kenneth and Phyllis (Pitchford) Robards. Mark graduated Buchanan High School Class of 1971. He worked for many years at Premier Foundry until his retirement. Mark was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Robards and Phyllis Robards-Fisher. He is survived by a brother Kevin (Barbara) Robards of Niles, three sisters Toni (Rich) Becker of Buchanan, Julie (Sharold) Ferris of Ft. Worth, Texas and Erica Robards of Buchanan and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in Mark's memory at the Buchanan Christian Church, 112 W. Third Street in Buchanan on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 2p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Foundation.
