Obituary of Ethelyn Masten

Ethelyn Ann (Rosenburger) Masten April 5, 1920 March 22, 2007 Ethelyn Ann Masten, 86, of South 15th Street in Niles, passed away at Westwood of Niles on Thursday, March 22, 2007. Ethelyn was born on April 5, 1920 in Niles, Michigan to the late Floyd and Myrna (La Comb) Rosenburger. On October 15, 1937 Ethelyn married the love of her life, Camden Masten. Together they had 4 children. Camden and Ethelyn enjoyed traveling in their younger days. After Camden passed away in 1991 Ethelyn spent much time with her family and traveling enjoyed playing the occasional card game and word puzzles. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, son Earl Masten, daughter Nancy (Jim) Worland and sisters Eileen Quick and Audrey Taube. Ethelyn is survived by her sons Harold "Matt" Masten of Niles and Philip (Diana) Masten of Niles, daughter-in-law Pat Masten, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Ethelyn's funeral service will be held on Monday, March 26, 2007 at the Brown Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with a time of visitation 2 hours prior. Pastor Carl Bassett will be officiating. Ethelyn will be interred at the Silverbrook Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Niles.
