Obituary of Charlene Grahl

Charlene Ann Grahl September 16, 1937 April 16, 2007 Charlene Ann Grahl, 69, of Hickory Street in Niles, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in Niles on Monday, April 16, 2007. Charlene was born on September 16, 1937 to the late Charles and Luella (Frantz) Grahl in Niles where she grew up with 5 siblings. Charlene worked at Gateway in Berrien Springs for nearly 25 years. She attended Coulter's Chapel Church of God in Niles for over 50 amazing years. In her younger years she enjoyed riding her bike all over town where everyone knew her. She was excellent at putting puzzles together and making pot holders that would last a lifetime. She also loved watching TV at Sarah's, especially Wheel of Fortune and Football. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Paul, Earl Robert and Leo Grahl and a sister Fayetta Denny. Charlene is survived by her loving brother James (Brenda) Grahl of Niles and her care taker Sarah Herzberg of Niles and several nieces and nephews. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2007 from 6-8 pm at Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services where her funeral will also be held on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 11:00 am. Pastor Dave Duvall will be officiating. Charlene will be interred at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Niles.
