I am so sorry to hear about Velma. I wish that I had known before this evening that she had passed away. The service was over before I had been notified. I haven't heard from her since Christmas. I had no idea she was ill. Her sister, Ruth, was my grandmother. Velma had been working on a journal of memories about my grandmother, per my request. I was hoping to visit her this summer, the first time since my grandma passed. I remember her and Norman taking us out when they came to visit. I will miss her. Hopefully, one of her daughters can pass on Velma's notes of my grandmother. I wish I could have been there today. Please express my condolences to the family.
