Obituary of Patsy Zelasko

Patsy Jean Zelasko December 21, 1931 June 12, 2007 Patsy Jean Zelasko, 75, of Rynearson Road in Buchanan, passed away at Riveridge Manor in Niles on Tuesday, June 12, 2007. Patsy was born to the late Valmore and Nora Belle (Utley) Speckine in Alvin, Texas. She was one of the 10 Children. On April 17, 1961 Patsy Speckine married the love of her life, Frank Zelasko, at a ceremony in Niles. Together they had 7 children. Patsy was the apartment manager for Thornwild Apartments in Scottsville, MI for most of her life. She listened to country music and spent all of her free time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Martin, brothers James Adams, Lonnie "Bob" Adams, Lee Frank Speckine and Billy Don Speckine. Patsy is survived by her husband, Frank, of 46 years, son Frank Jr. (Penny) Zelasko of Buchanan, Daughters Kathleen (Bill) Shearer of Grand Junction, MI, Karen (Larry) Salzwedel of LaPorte, In, Christine (Frank) Hicks of Hurricane, UT, Pam (Jerry) White of Anderson, IN and Maribeth Zelasko of Buchanan, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, brothers A.D. Adams of Buchanan, Ed Speckine of Buchanan, Charles "Sonny" Speckine of South Bend, IN and sisters Marie Beatty of Lincoln, NE and Mary Koroch of St. Joseph, MI. Patsy's memorial service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Mission Hills Memorial Chapel in Niles. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mission Hills Memorial Chapel and Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services, both of Niles.
