Ronald William Hunter, 80, of Hazel Road, Union Michigan passed away at his home on Sunday, June 17, 2007.
Ron was born on July 28, 1926 to the late Fredrick William and Maude (Tyrell) Hunter in Slurrey, Transvaal, South Africa.
On December 23, 1960 Ron wed the love of his life, Shirley Noel Hart at a ceremony in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother John (Doris) Hunter.
Ron is survived by his wife Shirley, children Peta Hunter of South Africa, Graham Hunter of South Africa, Beth Winefred Maude (Mark) Bartlett of Pearland, TX, Ronald Garth Hunter of Union, MI, Shirley Marlene (Russell) Allbrook of Houston, TX, Sean (Amy) Hunter of Edwardsburg, Peter Matthew (Simone) Hunter of Capetown, South Africa and Paul Mark Hunter of Lawton, MI and 13 grandchildren and one great grandson.
A private memorial service will be held by the family to honor Ron's life.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Niles.
