Richard D. Buck, 66, of Niles, went to be with The Lord, on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles. He was born on August 27, 1951 in Vandalia, Michigan to the late James and Olive (Wright) Buck. Richard graduated high school and spent most of his career in factory work. He was an avid sports fan, especially enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions. He also spent many hours fishing, watching westerns and mostly time spent with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings; Otto LeRoy Buck, Clara Fleming, Dorothy Haines, Frank Buck, Paul Buck, Barbara Wilson, Ronald Buck, Roger Buck and Larry Buck. Richard is survived by his daughter, Courtney Buck of Indianapolis, his grandchildren; Steven Buck, Christopher and Austin Yakim, his sister Marcile Williams of Cassopolis and Charles Buck of Vandalia, a host of nieces, nephews and countless other family members. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home in Niles at 1:00 pm with a time of visitation beginning at noon.
