Dan was my friend, and I'm really going to miss him. When I first started working at the Harley shop, and didn't know much, he was the one who would always stop what he was doing to help me out and teach me. Later, he was the one I took my Harley to....because he really cared about doing it right. He always showed me everything he did, and told me how to take care of it. Every time I took my bike to him, I always spent at least an hour just hanging around and talking to him. He had a sweet and gentle spirit, and cared so much about what he did, it was fun just being around him. Even if things were really bad in my life, Dan's smile and positive attitude always made me feel better. I never met his family, but he always kind of lit up when he talked about them. Rest in peace Dan, and know you will be remembered.
