Obituary of Quentin Thornton

Quentin Thornton, 73, of Niles, passed away at his sister's home in Niles on Monday, May 8, 2017.
Quentin was born on November 2, 1943, to the late Quentin and Mary (Dolph) Thornton in Connecticut. After graduating from high school, Quentin went on to attend trade school where he studied to become a mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Matthew Thornton; and a granddaughter, Suelynn Thornton.
Quentin is survived by his sons, Mark (Sheana Robertson) Thornton of Columbus, Indiana and Michael Thonton of Texas; grandchildren, Mark "Drew" II, Conner, Michael Jr., Christopher, and Patrick; siblings, Barbara Ward of Niles, Susan Dayson of Dowagiac, Johanna Thornton of California, Bonnie (Stephen) Dempsey of New Jersey, Christine (Thomas) Thornton-Albert of Louisiana, and Rex Thornton of Oregon.
In keeping with his wishes, he has been cremated and his family will be remembering him at a graveside service at Etna Green Cemetery in Etna Green, Indiana on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at 1:00 p.m.
