Katherine Pauline (Martin) George 89, of Edwardsburg, passed away at her home on October 13, 2007, surrounded by her family.
Katherine was born March 24, 1918 to the late Daniel and Harriet (Baker) Martin in Beaverdale, Pennsylvania.
A homemaker most of her life, Katherine enjoyed crafts including sewing and crocheting. Her favorite enjoyment was her family. She was also a nurse's aid for Elkhart General and gave patients her undivided attention.
She is survived by a son Daniel L. (Suzanne) George of Elkhart, three daughters; Linda (Jim) O'Konski of Edwardsburg, Donna (Albert) Watchorn of Elkhart, JoAnn (Ron) Gabbard of Cassopolis, 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
In keeping with Katherine's wishes a cremation will take place and a private life celebration service will be held by the family.
