Gordon Peter Sauve January 20, 1927 October 31, 2007 Gordon Peter Sauve,80, of Elderberry Road in Niles passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Gordon was born in Iron Mountain, MI on January 20, 1927 to the late Joseph and Blanche (Bourassa) Sauve. He was the eldest of 6 children. After graduating high school Gordon enlisted in the Navy from 1944 to 1946 and then re-enlisted in the Army where he served from 1948 to 1952. After serving his country during WWII he worked for the Ford Motor Company before moving to California to work for Douglas Aircraft. Gordon wed the love of his live Lois Lovell at a ceremony in Los Angles, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois and brother Edwin Sauve. Gordon is survived by his siblings Harold (Jeanette) Sauve of Niles, Alice (Oliver) Montgomery of Niles, John (Linda) Sauve of Niles and Arnold Sauve of Niles. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, November 5, 2007 at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services from 11:00 am to Noon. Gordon will be buried in the family plot at the Niagara Cemetery in Niagara, WI. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Niles.
