Obituary of James Clingenpeel

James Clingenpeel, 75, of Niles, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in Niles on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
James was born on July 11, 1941, to the late Kenneth and Jesse "Bunny" Clingenpeel in Niles. After graduating from Niles High School, James went on to join the Army National Guard. He later retired from Duwell's in Dowagiac.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and is survived by his wife, Maxine; children, Eric (Tracey) Clingenpeel of Niles, Andrea Harkins of Everett, Washington; and their mother, JoEllyln Perdue of Niles; grandchildren, Nathan (Jessica Conrad), Zackary, and Alexander Clingenpeel, and Krista Hyatt; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Joey; and siblings, William (Marjorie) Clingenpeel of Greensboro, North Carolina and Lynn Harding of Anaheim, California.
In keeping with James' wishes, his family will be holding a private memorial service.
