Mary K. Etzcorn, 54, of Niles, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, August 17, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 20, 1959 to Donald and Maureen (Bradford) Kilgore.
Mary graduated from Berrien Springs High School and went on to work for Essex wire in Berrien Springs where she met the love of her life and on May 7, 1983 Mary married Daniel P. Etzcorn at a ceremony in Niles. She also worked for many years at Whirlpool where she was a sales representative. Mary loved helping others and found a tremendous amount of joy working as an adult education supervisor for Niles High School.
Her hobbies included reading, traveling to Florida and spending time at Lake of the Woods with her family. She was a loving wife and a fantastic and supportive mother.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Mary is survived by her husband Daniel Etzcorn of Niles, her son Nicholas Etzcorn of Niles, her mother Maureen Kilgore of Benton Harbor, two brothers Don (Marian) Kilgore of Berrien Springs and Tim Kilgore of Benton Harbor and a sister Ellen Sullivan.
