Obituary of Marjorie Hover

Marjorie Alice (Petersen) Hover March 26, 1932 November 28, 2007 Marjorie Alice Hover, 75, of Niles, passed away at Riveridge Manor in Niles on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 after a battle with cancer. Marjorie was born on March 26, 1932 to the late Harry and Holly (Herran) Petersen in Niles. She was one of 5 children in the Petersen household. After graduating high school Marjorie wed Richard Hover, on October 4, 1952 at a ceremony in Niles. Together they raised 2 wonderful children. Marjorie was an avid bowler and always an active person. She went to the theater often and enjoyed going to Cubs baseball games with her husband. Richard passed away in 1990. Marjorie was also an excellent singer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband and sister Shirley McCrory. Marjorie is survived by her long time companion Don Harrold of Niles, children Diana (Ray) Hess of South Bend, IN and Rick Hover of Miami, Florida, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and siblings Jerry (Kathy) Petersen of Portage, MI, Jim (Bonnie) Petersen of Owatonna, MN and Debbie Svien of Hastings, MN. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2007 from 10am - 12 pm with Marjorie's funeral following at Noon at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Niles. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Niles.
