Meriam (Brandon) Carr

Meriam "Granny" Carr, 99, of Indian Lake Road in Niles, passed away at Riverridge Manor in Niles on Friday, December 14, 2007.
Meriam was born on February 17, 1908 to the late Walter and Edna (Bullock) Brandon. She was one of 6 children in the Brandon Household.
On July 3, 1923 Meriam wed the love of her life, Carroll Carr, at a ceremony in Rising Star, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Carroll, Son Don Carr, Daughter Jackie Dinger, grandson Howard "Howie" Stewart, 3 grandchildren and 5 siblings.
Meriam is survived by her daughter LaVoe Priest of Niles, grandson Odie Stewart of Niles, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Meriam has been cremated and a memorial service to honor her memory will take place at a later date in the spring.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Niles.
