Obituary of Eva Pullum

Please share a memory of Eva to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Eva Marie (Ellcey) Pullum, 75, of Edwardsburg went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 15, 2008 at Our Lady of Peace Hospital in South Bend, Indiana after an illness. Eva was born June 10, 1932 to the late Clayton W. and Trula (Webb) Ellcey in Newberry, Michigan. She married the love of her life William "Bill" Pullum on November 15, 1948 at a ceremony in Paw Paw, Michigan. Eva has always been very involved with her church. She first attended the 1st Assembly of God in Niles and later the Bethel Assembly in Elkhart. Although Eva enjoyed cooking and baking, her hobby was collecting the cookbooks and recipes and over the years amassed quite a collection. Eva was also partial to the great outdoors where she loved to fish, and share time with her family around a campfire during their many campouts. When in the quiet of her home she kept her hands busy with the many crafts she enjoyed. Her family was her greatest treasure. Preceding Eva are her parents and her brother, Clayton "Buck" Ellcey, Jr. She is survived by her husband Bill of Edwardsburg, her three daughters; Carol Ann Ferguson of Lafayette, Indiana, Vickie (Paul) Bennett of Buchanan, Michigan and Sheila Pullum-Wilson of Niles. Also surviving Eva are her two sons Daniel F. (Patricia) Pullum of Cassopolis, Michigan and Michael (Julie) Pullum of Granger, Indiana, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her two brothers; Ron Ellcey and Dan Ellcey both of Montana, and her three sisters; Donna Ennes of Dowagiac, Joyce (Bob) Wolcotten of Scotts, Michigan and Sharon (Dave) Holder, of Seymor, Tennessee and one sister-in-law Janene Ellcey of Lawton. Visitation will be Friday, April 18, 2008 at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel 61453 M-51, Niles, Michigan from 6-8 p.m. with the service Saturday at Mission Hills at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Carol Ann Ferguson officiating.
