Duane Lee Rauschenberger November 23, 1945 April 26, 2008 Duane Lee Rauschenberger, 62, of Cassopolis, passed away at home with his family by his side, following an illness. He was born on November 23, 1945 to the late Elmer and Nola (Lee) Rauschenberger in Lansing, Michigan. Duane graduated from Western Michigan University in 1980 with a Bachelors of Science. He was a very loyal person and enjoyed working with the developmentally disabled. On June 16, 2002, Duane married Norma Jean Jones at a ceremony at their residence in Cassopolis. He enjoyed drag racing, repairing and rebuilding engines, and always found time to help someone, anytime, anywhere. He has been racing since 12 years old. He is survived by his wife Norma (Jones) Rauschenberger of Cassopolis, MI, son Matthew Ringle of Marcellus, MI. In keeping with Duane's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday May 17, 2008 at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Those who knew Duane best will understand his request for those attending to wear casual clothes and share a story or memory of him. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services & Mission Hills Memorial Chapel, both of Niles.
