The man that taught me common courtesy in life. You was a good dad and showed me the right path to take as a child and then an adult and for that I love you and will miss you so very much. I made promises to you and will uphold them. I take much pride and comfort knowing you had trust in me as your illness got worse and helping mom take care of you. Till I cross over love you forever. Mom will begin to heal after Thursday and you will see her smile again so look for it. Mom misses you so much but is happy to know your pain free and she will see you again when god needs her. I will be back to write more another day. Good night dad.

I wouldn't be the person I am today with out Uncle Rick and Aunt Janie. At one point I was at their house more then I was home. He never said a word. They was my safe place in a storm. I will always remember him and what a wonderful person he was. Much love.

As a fellow employee of Leco Corp.and working night shift Rick and I shared many stories. When Rick began to embark on his short stories and leave copies on the break room tables it became something the guys really looked forward to. In August of 2011 Rick signed a copy of his book "Fears, Tears And Life" as well as a note dedicating my copy to the memory of my daughter. RIP Rick you will be very missed by many!
