Obituary of Clinton Edmund Frazier

Clinton E. Frazier, 73, of Benton Harbor passed serenely into eternity on January 13, 2021, at Spectrum Health Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph. He was born on March 22, 1947, in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Alfred Frazier and Nona (Steele) Blanton. Clinton was a loving father, brother, and friend. He was employed at Cook Nuclear plant and Palisades for many years, as well as a member of Michigan Carpenters Union Local 525 for over 50 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed time as a member of the Gentleman’s social club (Old Timers). Clinton never met a stranger and made friends effortlessly. He and his friends would often meet at local restaurants just to sit and catch up over a cup of coffee. He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred H. Frazier and Nona I. Blanton. Clinton leaves to cherish his memory his children Anthony (Casey Koch) McCoy of Benton Harbor, MI; daughter, Clenetta Frazier of Rochester Hills, MI; grandchildren, Anthony McCoy Jr., Sa’mya Koch; brothers, Alfred H. (Deborah) Frazier Jr., sisters, Brenda Massengale-Barnes, Donna (Charles) Joseph, and Evelyn E. Powell. A service celebrating his life will be January 22, 2021, at Apostolic Tabernacle Church, 1881 Greenly Ave. Benton Harbor. Visitation begins at 11:00 am followed by the funeral at 12:00 noon. He will be laid to rest at North Shore Memory Garden. In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, our gathering is limited, the State of Michigan requires all in attendance to follow all guidelines including, social distancing, mandatory mask, and hand sanitizing.
