Obituary of Wayne Lee Wilson

Wayne Lee Wilson, 67 years, of Niles, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

He was born on Tuesday, December 11, 1951, in Michigan City, the son of the late Marion and the late Beatrice (Troffer) Wilson. He was a truck driver for many years. Wayne proudly served in the Army from 1971 to 1977, during the Vietnam War. He was passionate about helping his fellow wounded veterans and encouraged others to give to the Paralyzed Veterans Association.

Mr. Wilson has no surviving relatives.

A graveside service will be held at Silverbrook Cemetery, 1400 East Main St. in Niles, Michigan 49120, on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at 2:00 p.m, Pastor Mike Smith will deliver the eulogy.

All members of the public are invited to attend to pay their respects for an American hero.
