Obituary of Richard A. Coger

Richard A. Coger, 71, of Niles, passed away at his residence on Friday, November 10, 2017. He was born on February 13, 1946 in Buchanan to the late Harold C. and Eunice L. (McConoughey) Coger. Richard graduated from Buchanan High School class of 1964. On September 25, 1964 he married Joan D. Lucker at a ceremony in Niles. Richard was recently retired from Jessen Manufacturing in Elkhart, Indiana where he worked as a tool maker and millwright. Richard owned and operated Reflective Vision Photography for over twenty-three years. Richard was also very gifted in creating beautiful pieces of woodworking. He was most happy when he was able to spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife, whom he had just celebrated the fifty-third year of their marriage, Joan Coger of Niles; his children, Richard Jr. (Cindy) Coger of Niles, Heather (Tim) Withers of Buchanan; four grandchildren, Austin, Brendan, Kyler and Aria; a brother, Bud (Marta) Coger of Salt Lake City, Utah. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at noon at Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle, 945 Chippewa Street in Buchanan with a time of visitation one hour prior. An interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan. Memorial contributions may be made in Richard's memory to the Salvation Army, 424 N 15th Street, Niles, Michigan 49120.
