Obituary of Donnia Lynn

Donnia Cledis (Elsey) Lynn February 25, 1921 December 26, 2007 Donnia Cledis Lynn, 86, of Bame Avenue in Niles, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 with her family by her side. Donnia was born on February 25, 1921 to the late John B. and Arona Emeline (Cain) Elsey on February 25, 1921. She was one of 16 children in the Elsey household. After school Donnia became a Seamstress. She did many outfits for famous people around this area. She was also a past member of the Coulter's Chapel Church of God and the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She loved gardening outdoors and crocheting and quilting. On April 23, 1940 Donnia wed the love of her life, Luther Gutherie Lynn in Huntsville, Arkansas. Together they had 4 children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband Luther, of nearly 59 years, Son Luther LaValle Lynn, Great-Granddaughter Alesia Retzlaff, Great-Grandson Cody James Lynn, Great-Great-Grandson Damion Lynn Melton and her 15 siblings. Donnia is survived by her children Cledis "Jean" (Jim) Cummings of Ogema, WI, Jessie (Art) Hess Dowllar of Elkhart, IN and Lawrence (Karen) Lynn of Oklahoma, 11 Grandchildren and 27 Great-Grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 from 1-2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Niles where the funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Pastor Dave DeVoll will be officiating. Donnia will be interred at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services
